You can connect with other moms, discuss your experiences, and learn helpful tools and resources. Whether you are stressed, experiencing baby blues or postpartum depression/anxiety, adjusting to parenting or just looking for connection, this group is for you.

Our monthly, community-based meetings include guest speakers covering a wide variety of topics related to diabetes and your health to supplement and continue your education. Open to all individuals with diabetes and those who care about them.

The Breastfeeding Support Group provides encouragement and mother-to-mother breastfeeding support as well as current, accurate and ongoing breastfeeding information. 

Please bring infant ready to nurse, as the infant will be weighed, fed by mother then weighed again so that the mother will know how much the infant is transferring off the breast. Please bring diapers, baby wipes and a pillow or Boppy pillow to support self while nursing.

A group for people living with cancer and their families/caregivers

This group provides an opportunity for people living with cancer and their caregivers to share strategies on dealing with cancer. Structured in a casual and inviting setting, these meetings are designed to facilitate a sense of community for those who have been affected by cancer. Walk-ins are

welcome, and attendees are invited to stay for the entire session or a portion of it.

For those who have experienced a loss during pregnancy or of a baby up to 1 year of age

The loss of an infant during or shortly after pregnancy is a traumatic experience that can lead to a range of emotions. Having a support system is very important during this time. 

During sessions, attendees have the opportunity to seek help from others, receive tips on coping and managing their grief, and share their feelings with others who have had similar experiences.

Taught by registered dietitians, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, you'll learn more about medications, nutrition, how you can effectively manage the progression of heart failure and more. The classes are designed to empower you to create best lifestyle practices so that you can continue living an active, fulfilling life.

This eight-week virtual program includes weekly online classes featuring discussions and practical tips about nutrition, heart health, diabetes and prediabetes. An eight-week membership to The Hill Y in Westminster or the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC is included in the program; participants are expected to exercise at their selected location at least three days a week.
