Care for the Whole Person

At the Tevis Center for Wellness, we provide whole-person care that nurtures your mind, body and spirit. Our expert practitioners offer integrative health services—like acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage therapy, reflexology and Reiki—that work alongside traditional medicine to help relieve symptoms, manage pain, reduce stress, boost energy and support recovery.

Beyond individual treatments, we offer support groups for those experiencing grief, new parenthood and other life transitions, as well as wellness classes and programs for managing chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease. Our on-site Wellness Boutique and Studio YOU feature health and wellness products to support your journey.

Whether you’re looking for relief from a specific condition, a way to relax and recharge or the perfect wellness gift, we’re here to help.

Heart Failure Services

Heart failure is a chronic condition that requires ongoing care—but with the right support, you can manage your symptoms and live well. The Heart Failure Clinic at Carroll Hospital, located in the Tevis Center for Wellness, offers expert, compassionate care tailored to your needs. Our team works closely with your cardiologist and primary care provider to help you monitor symptoms, adjust medications and maintain your quality of life. We provide post-hospital follow-up care, routine check-ins and urgent appointments when necessary.

At each visit, we take time to understand how you’re feeling, assess your health, review medications and provide personalized education so you feel confident managing your heart failure. If needed, we can also offer IV diuretic therapy to relieve fluid buildup and reduce the risk of hospitalization. To get started, ask your doctor to fax a referral to 410-871-7370. Once we receive your referral, we will contact you to set up an appointment.

To support your journey even further, we offer a free digital library of Heart Failure Education Sessions. These recorded classes—led by dietitians, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals—cover important topics like nutrition, medications and heart-healthy habits. Watch anytime, at your own pace, and get the tools you need to live an active, fulfilling life.
