Residency Mission Statement

The mission of the Sinai Rehabilitation Center and University of Maryland Physical Therapy Residency Program is to provide comprehensive, post-professional education and mentorship in neurologic physical therapy throughout the continuum of care that will offer the opportunity to advance clinical knowledge and skills. The partnership of the clinical and academic institutions integration will bring together strengths to provide robust educational experiences.

Our robust curriculum will incorporate all aspects of the Neurologic Description of Residency Practice (DRP), leveraging MedBridge online education modules (NCS Prep Program) coupled with individualized face-to-face instruction with expert mentors, across a range of specialty areas.

How to Apply

We begin accepting applications on October 1, 2023, and our application deadline is mid-February 2024.  Our faculty will review completed applications in RF-PTCAS and will interview candidates on a rolling basis starting in March 2024.  Please apply early, as a candidate with an exceptional completed application may be interviewed and selected prior to the application deadline.
