Through our Individualized Workforce Development model, we offer one-on-one support that helps clients address the personal barriers that may have kept them from long-term employment.
The mission of the Franciscan Center is to provide emergency assistance and supportive outreach to persons who are economically disadvantaged in an effort to assist them in realizing their self-worth and dignity. Providing hot meals, clothing, vital documents, case management and more.
Today, the Center has three main focus areas: nutrition, connection, and education. Education A steady job can provide an enormous boost to a person’s sense of dignity and hope. Empowerment Services focuses on the building blocks of successful employment: counseling, computer training, job-readiness classes, work attire, network building, and creating opportunities for clients to get on-the-job experience. Dignity Plates is a free culinary training program.
Restore Baltimore Workforce Development Program provides 6-month, earn-and-learn skilled trades educational training onsite at the Museum in partnership with CCBC.
Friendly Loving Opportunities (FLO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that assists homeless and low-income individuals and families in Baltimore City. FLO provides food, clothing, furniture, and supplies for people experiencing hardship. The organization works to inspire hope in men, women, and children in need and helps them transform their lives. With a spirit of advocacy and goodwill, FLO provides resources to people without necessities required for survival.

Saratoga Street 21223 (Every Tuesday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm) and Brown's Memorial Baptist Church 3215 W. Belvedere Avenue 21215 (every Tuesday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
