A Better Way to Experience Prenatal Care

Every pregnancy journey is unique, but having a strong support system can make all the difference. CenteringPregnancy® at LifeBridge Health offers a group-based prenatal care model that connects parents-to-be with similar due dates in a welcoming, inclusive space.

Led by trusted healthcare providers, CenteringPregnancy® combines personalized medical care, pregnancy education and community support to improve birth outcomes and reduce health disparities.

How Does CenteringPregnancy® Work?

CenteringPregnancy® follows the standard 10-visit prenatal schedule but offers longer, more interactive sessions in a small group setting. Each group includes 8-10 moms and their support people.

What to Expect at Each Visit

Skip the Waiting Room

Join your fellow parents for social time and a snack.

Private Health Assessments

Take your own weight and blood pressure before meeting one-on-one with your provider for a belly check.

Group Discussions

A trained facilitator leads conversations on topics like nutrition, stress, labor and delivery, breastfeeding and newborn care.

Community Support

Connect with other expectant parents, ask questions and share experiences in a judgement-free space.

Why Choose CenteringPregnancy®?

Better Health for Moms and Babies

Studies show that CenteringPregnancy® reduces preterm births, lowers infant mortality rates and improves breastfeeding success.

More Time With Your Provider

Each session lasts 90 minutes to two hours, giving you 10 times the face-to-face time with your provider compared to traditional prenatal checkups.

A Stronger Support System

By meeting regularly with the same group, you’ll build meaningful relationships that can last beyond pregnancy.

Empowerment Through Education

Learn about pregnancy, childbirth and newborn care in an interactive setting, making the information easier to understand and apply.

Confidence and Peace of Mind

With more time with your provider and group support, you’ll feel prepared for labor, delivery and life with a newborn.
