You Did It! Your Support Of "˜Race For Our Kids' Is Changing Lives!

Thank you to everyone for participating in Sinai Hospital's Race for Our Kids 2018, presented by ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers! 

Your incredible generosity, time and support resulted in tremendous success, raising more than $150,000 for programs and services at the Herman & Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai.

It was so inspiring to see people of all ages running, walking and strolling on a recent Sunday morning to help children receiving treatment and care at Sinai. Despite the possibility that bad weather could ruin the day, Mother Nature was kind enough to give us perfect weather.

Runners and walkers of the 10K, 5K and one mile fun walk received extra motivation because posters of our child ambassadors were displayed along the routes to remind individuals who they were helping. 

The morning was filled with smiling faces, focused energy, the Oriole Bird, music from 101.9 Lite FM and, of course, amazing food. A very special thank you to The Classic Catering People who spoiled us again this year with a feast fit for hungry and appreciative participants! 

  Also, a very special thank you to emcee Jamie Costello (and his family). Jamie comes out every year to lead the after-race festivities where our runners and walkers receive well-deserved recognition. Congratulations to everyone who finished their course. That hill at the end is not easy.

And again, thank you to all of the teams and individuals who donate funds for our kids"¦who can look out the windows of the Samuelson Children's Hospital and see the crowds gathered to assist them.

Your enthusiasm is contagious, and we sincerely appreciate your support of Race for Our Kids. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
