Visitor Policy Updates - No Visitation Allowed
Dear LifeBridge Health team members,
In order to respond to the rapidly changing COVID-19 pandemic, we are adapting our policies to protect our staff and patients by amending our visitor policies.
To proactively reduce the number of non-staff members on our campuses, we are now prohibiting any visitors from visiting the hospitals effective at 7 a.m. tomorrow, March 25.
The only exceptions to this policy are:
- One parent visitor per pediatric patient
- One significant other for labor and delivery patients
- One visitor for end-of-life care patients
- One visitor for heart attack and stroke patients
- One visitor for emergency surgery patients
All of the above visitor exceptions will be the sole DESIGNATED visitor for the patient and required to wear a surgical mask.
Emergency Department (ED) Visitation Policies:
- Visitors with patients for the ED will be screened.
- ED visitors will not be required to wear masks.
- ED patients will be required to wear surgical masks.
Patients Under Investigation (PUIs) for COVID-19:
- Anyone who is a Patient Under Investigation (PUI) will not be allowed visitors.
Additional Notes:
Again, plans are changing quickly, and the LifeBridge Health COVID-19 Command Center is communicating with the Command Centers at each hospital to share information.
All information that we've been sending out has been added to this webpage: lbhstaging22.lifebridgehealth.org/staffCOVID19. This allows the information to be available whether or not you are on the LifeBridge Health network.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation as we work together to respond to Coronavirus.
