Terri Haunert, R.N., receives Carroll Hospital's February DAISY Award
Registered nurse Terri Haunert, intermediate care unit, was presented with Carroll Hospital's February DAISY Award. A nurse at the hospital since 2019, Haunert was recognized for helping a patient visit with his critically ill wife, who was also a patient, before she was transferred to hospice care.
"Terri is an extraordinary nurse whose compassion knows no bounds. She went over and above her duties to care for this patient and make his stay here as pleasant and comfortable as possible," said Stephanie Reid, chief nursing officer at Carroll Hospital.
Carroll Hospital's DAISY Award honors outstanding health care professionals at the hospital. It is given to a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse each month to recognize his or her extraordinary efforts in delivering exceptional patient care.
Carroll Hospital, a LifeBridge Health Center, is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering the latest in medical technology, experienced medical professionals in a variety of specialties and da continuum of programs and services to meet the needs of the community.
