Northwest Hospital Dedicates Old Court Center: New Building Marks Next Phase of Revitalization for Randallstown Campus

News

What: The ribbon-cutting and dedication of Northwest Hospital's new Old Court Center celebrates the next phase of the expansion and revitalization of the Northwest Hospital campus, designed to enhance the lives of the people who live and work in Randallstown.

Along with medical offices and services, Old Court Center also features space for community services, including education and training, and a center for seniors.

The facility will be home to the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Center for Aging in Community, LifeBridge Health Adult Day Services, Levindale Outpatient Rehabilitation, and Blackwell-White and Associates Pediatric Medicine.

Future tenants are also expected to include Trinity University, which sends students to train at Northwest Hospital, and Ray Lewis' Power52 Foundation, which provides career training in the solar industry.

The newly constructed Old Court Center building is 45,000 square feet with three stories and a parking garage. The first tenants are scheduled to move in later this year.

Leaders from Northwest Hospital and LifeBridge Health; numerous business, civic and religious leaders; and Baltimore Ravens Hall-of-Famer Ray Lewis attended the ribbon cutting.

Other special guests at the event were students from the Baltimore County health careers magnet school program. Northwest Hospital is a partner with the Northwest Academy of Health Sciences and Randallstown High School to prepare students for careers in the health field. Students from both schools may spend time at Old Court Center as part of their educational experiences.

Why: Northwest Hospital and parent company LifeBridge Health are committed to revitalizing and enriching the Randallstown corridor with wide-ranging services, opportunities for growth and millions of investment dollars.  Northwest Hospital has been an anchor and a neighbor in Randallstown for many decades and has now expanded its campus with Old Court Center and, in 2016, with Liberty Center.

Liberty Center ushered in the first phase of development in February of 2016. A medical building in the heart of the Liberty Road corridor, Liberty Center houses an ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers location and medical offices.

In addition to constructing Old Court Center and landscaping the grounds surrounding it, improvements to Old Court Road were also part of the project.
