Northwest Hospital Announces Susan Mani, M.D., as New Chair of Department of Medicine and Chief Quality Officer
Northwest Hospital welcomes Susan Mani, M.D., as the new chair of the Department of Medicine and as the hospital's chief quality officer.
Mani joins Northwest Hospital from Danbury Hospital, part of Western Connecticut Health Network. Mani is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and she completed her fellowship training in cardiology at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. She is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.
Mani has experience in performance improvement and quality and patient safety advancement and is playing a crucial role in advancing Northwest Hospital's Quest to be the Best in the areas of clinical outcome performance, patient experience and efficient use of resources.
