New Urgent Care Center Coming for Baltimore City Residents

News

Baltimore, MD - Teams from ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers and LifeBridge Health exchanged stethoscopes and bandages for hard hats and shovels as they broke ground for a new urgent care center in the Pimlico area in North Baltimore on Wednesday, September 2, 2015.

The center will be located at the corner of Greenspring and Cylburn Avenues, down the hill from the Sinai Hospital Emergency Department. This will be the second ExpressCare center in Baltimore City.

The new 5,000 square foot center will have ten medical providers offering urgent medical treatment to families for most non-life threatening conditions, including broken bones, burns, bites, flu, infections and ear aches. There will also be pre-employment and sports physicals as well as after-accident and work-related injury services.

People who don't have a primary care doctor or who can't be seen the same day by their physician will be welcome to walk-in seven days a week without an appointment.

The ExpressCare LifeBridge Health partnership is in line with the ongoing population health initiatives that focus on providing preventive and wellness programs in patients' neighborhoods and communities.

When this ExpressCare urgent care center opens in the spring of 2016, it will be the 27th ExpressCare location. Centers are already in Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

With an ExpressPass online registration, patients can even check in online to reserve a place. For more information about ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers, visit http://www.whywaitintheer.com/
