Melissa Coopersmith receives Carroll Hospital's December DAISY Award

Registered nurse Melissa Coopersmith, intermediate care unit, recently received Carroll Hospital's December DAISY Award. A nurse at the hospital for close to 13 years, Coopersmith was recognized for her compassionate care of a patient on her unit. 

"Missy is an extraordinary nurse who exemplifies our SPIRIT values and is a testament to the exceptional nursing care Carroll Hospital has consistently been recognized for," said Stephanie Reid, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at Carroll Hospital.
 
Carroll Hospital's DAISY Award honors outstanding health care professionals at the hospital. It is given to a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse each month to recognize his or her extraordinary efforts in delivering exceptional patient care.
