LifeBridge Health's Martha Nathanson Named Among Maryland's Top 100 Women
Baltimore, MD - Martha Nathanson, vice president of government relations and community development at LifeBridge Health, has been named a 2017 Maryland's Top 100 Women honoree by The Daily Record.
Nathanson stood out among 435 nominees, a record number of nominations for the statewide honor, which The Daily Record began in 1996. The award recognizes the outstanding achievements of women as demonstrated through professional accomplishments, community leadership and mentoring.
"It is humbling to be considered one of the most successful women in our great state. I proudly accept this award on behalf of the entire LifeBridge Health team," says Nathanson. "This award means so much because it recognizes women not only as successful professionals, but also as community leaders who make a difference in many ways."
The nominees were asked to complete an application highlighting their educational and career history, professional and community involvement, corporate and nonprofit board memberships, and mentoring experience. In addition, they were encouraged to submit letters of recommendation from those who are familiar with their accomplishments.
"Each of this year's Maryland's Top 100 Women honorees excels in her unique endeavors, yet all share common traits. They are successful women who are committed to helping others and creating change," says Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. "They inspire those around them every day, and for that commitment to excellence and to mentoring future generations of leaders, The Daily Record is honored to recognize their achievements."
Nathanson and the other award recipients will be honored at a ceremony to be held Monday, April 24 at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. They also will be featured in a special section of the April 25 issue of The Daily Record.
