LifeBridge Health's 2016 Magic of Life Gala Raises Record $3,500,000 to Help Patients and Families
LifeBridge Health's 2016 Magic of Life Gala raised $3,500,000 to benefit patient care, programs, services, capital projects and technology at LifeBridge Health. More than 2,000 people attended this recent biennial event which has the distinction of being one of the largest one-day nonprofit fundraisers in Baltimore.
Neil Meltzer, the president and CEO of LifeBridge Health, thanked all of the evening's donors for their incredible generosity. He then introduced the gala chairs, Anna and Daniel Klein, and Anne Louise and Howard Perlow. Daniel Klein is the president of Klein Enterprises, and Howard Perlow is the executive vice president of Residential Title & Escrow.
The Magic of Life Gala, held at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, featured cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, supper, a highlight program, a concert and a dessert reception.
Grammy award winning singer, Sheryl Crow, headlined the gala playing many of her hits including "All I Wanna Do" and "Every Day is a Winding Road."
This 2016 event is the ninth Magic of Life Gala since the formation of LifeBridge Health in 1998. Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, and related affiliates make up LifeBridge Health, one of the largest and most comprehensive health care providers in Maryland.
