LifeBridge Health Selects Chief Operating Officer for Post-Acute Care Division

Idriz Limaj, LNHA, R.N.Baltimore, MD - Idriz Limaj, LNHA, R.N., has been named the new chief operating officer of Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital and the Post-Acute Division at LifeBridge Health. Limaj brings a unique combination of health care management, clinical nursing experience and business development expertise.

Limaj will oversee LifeBridge Health's post-acute services, which include long-term care, behavioral health, chronic hospital services and skilled nursing home care, as well outpatient day treatment programs and adult day services. The division is located on two campuses, Northwest Hospital and Levindale.

Limaj is a licensed nursing home administrator who most recently served as the executive director of Community Health Services at Hebrew SeniorLife (HSL) - Home and Hospice Care in Massachusetts, where he supervised operations including strategic planning; compliance with state, federal and accreditation regulations; and the business growth of all of HSL community health services programs. He also co-founded connectRN, a mobile technology company that facilitates nursing communication and staffing.

Limaj is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He earned his MBA in health care management and his RN-BSN at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Limaj speaks Albanian and Macedonian.
