Baltimore, MD. - LifeBridge Health is proud to announce that Anna and Daniel Klein, and Anne Louise and Howard Perlow, are the chairs of the 2016 Magic of Life Gala.  Daniel Klein is the president of Klein Enterprises, and Howard Perlow is the executive vice president of Residential Title & Escrow.  This biennial event will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 6 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, Maryland.

"I am honored that the Kleins and Perlows have agreed to serve as the chairs of the 2016 Magic of Life Gala, our biggest fundraiser," says Neil Meltzer, president and CEO of LifeBridge Health. "Their leadership, business acumen and enthusiasm will make this a truly memorable and successful evening with the goal of providing crucial funds for programs and services across our health care system."

Mr. Klein currently serves on the Board of Governors and as the chair of the Real Estate Committee for The Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, and also sits on the Board of Directors for the University of Baltimore Foundation.

"I consider it my duty to support the compassionate medical teams at LifeBridge Health who not only treat the sick, but who focus on preventive health and wellness programs," says Mr. Klein. "As my late grandfather, Philip E. Klein would say, "˜Always remember that talent gets you nowhere, if you don't apply yourself and put in the hard work to produce something.'"

Mr. Perlow is also well-known in the community for lending a helping hand or, in his case, both hands to worthy causes. He is currently a member of the board of directors at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, is the co-president of the Shaarei Tfiloh Congregation and his philanthropic efforts support organizations working toward eradicating cancer.

"LifeBridge Health embodies the real meaning of excellent health care, and my own values align perfectly with its mission to provide the highest quality medical treatments and health-related services to those in need," says Mr. Perlow. "I think it's a privilege and a mitzvah to do what I can to assist with these endeavors."

The 2016 gala is the ninth Magic of Life event since the formation of LifeBridge Health in 1998. Since its inception, this event has had the distinction of being one of the largest one-day nonprofit fundraisers in Baltimore, raising vital dollars for patient care at Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital and Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital.

LifeBridge Health, with its subsidiaries, is one of the largest and most comprehensive providers of health services in Maryland.
