LifeBridge Health Names Paul M. Apostolo, M.D., as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics at Northwest Hospital

Baltimore, MD - May 11, 2015. LifeBridge Health is pleased to announce that Paul M. Apostolo, M.D., has joined the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics as the new chief of orthopedic surgery at Northwest Hospital. He will lead a team of experienced experts to expand the Institute's services in orthopedic surgery and create a new center of excellence program in hand surgery for the Rubin Institute at Northwest Hospital.

Dr. Apostolo brings more than 25 years of experience to the Rubin Institute, with expertise in operative and non-operative care of the hand, knee, hip and shoulder. He will also maintain his office in the Seton Professional Center on Wilkens Avenue.

Dr. Apostolo earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College after completing the six-year Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute/Albany Medical College Biomedical Program. He completed his internship and residency programs at Rhode Island Hospital and Brown University respectively. His additional fellowship training in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Rochester and Strong Memorial Hospital was for surgery of the hand and upper extremity, concentrating on the hand, elbow and shoulder.

Dr. Apostolo is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the Maryland Orthopaedic Society.  Dr. Apostolo is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with the Certificate of Added Qualification for Surgery of the Hand.
