LifeBridge Health Hospitals Honored for Patient Safety Innovations and Commitment to Quality
The Maryland Patient Safety Center recently recognized three LifeBridge Health hospitals for patient safety innovation and achievement. The awards are named for the center’s first president and executive director, William Minogue, MD, FACP, to honor his enduring contributions to and passion for improving patient care and safety.
In this year’s Minogue Awards, Sinai Hospital teams were recognized with three Circle of Honor Awards, one of which they shared with Northwest Hospital. Carroll Hospital also received Circle of Honor recognition. Listed below are the four Circle of Honor Awards won by LifeBridge Health in 2024:
- Sinai Hospital - An evidence-based approach for Hospital-Acquired Pressure Injury (HAPI) Reduction in the Emergency Department
- Sinai Hospital - Interdisciplinary Collaboration to Reduce Surgical Site Infections after Cesarean Deliver
- Sinai Hospital & Northwest Hospital - Hands-on Quality Improvement with No Room for Hiccups
- Carroll Hospital Center Implementing a Collaborative Initiative to Improve the Quality of Care for Maternal Patients Presenting to The Emergency Department
All Circle of Honor Winners shared their findings at the Maryland Patient Safety Center’s annual conference on April 26 and were honored at a special ceremony the night before the conference.
