LifeBridge Health Appoints Mauro Moscucci, M.D. M.B.A., as Chief of Medicine for Sinai Hospital and Medical Director of the LifeBridge Health Cardiovascular Institute

Mauro Moscucci, M.D., M.B.A.Baltimore, MD - Mauro Moscucci, M.D., M.B.A., a board-certified specialist in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, has joined LifeBridge Health as chief of medicine for Sinai Hospital and medical director of the LifeBridge Health Cardiovascular Institute.

Moscucci will be leading the advancement of the LifeBridge Health Cardiovascular Institute, a comprehensive center that provides advanced patient-centered care and conducts groundbreaking cardiovascular research at Sinai and Northwest hospitals. The institute's integrated centers and programs are dedicated to preventing, treating and improving outcomes for heart disease, vascular disease and stroke.

The LifeBridge Health Cardiovascular Institute is comprised of several centers working in coordination to provide individualized care to patients, including personalized medicine, less invasive treatments and support services.

  • The Sinai Center for Thrombosis Research is recognized in the international cardiology and thrombosis community as a leader in the field of antithrombotic therapy. The expertise of the lab focuses on anti-platelet drug development, antithrombotic therapy and personalized anti-platelet therapy.
