LifeBridge Health Appoints Jason A. Blavatt, Esquire as Chairman of the Board of Directors
Baltimore, MD - LifeBridge Health is proud to announce that Jason A. Blavatt, Esquire, is now serving as the chairman of its board of directors. As one of the largest, most comprehensive providers of health-related services to the people of Maryland, LifeBridge Health consists of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, and related subsidiaries and affiliates.

Blavatt has a long association with LifeBridge Health. He is a past chair and a current member of the Levindale Board of Directors. He also currently sits on the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore Board of Directors and the Northwest Hospital Board of Directors. Additionally, his generosity is evidenced in many ways including membership in the LifeBridge Health Circle of Life Society and the LifeBridge Health Family Society.

In addition to his work with LifeBridge Health, Blavatt continues his decades of work as a pillar in the Baltimore community and with his work on behalf of Israel. He divides his time and talents by serving on a myriad boards including that of the ASSOCIATED: Jewish Federation of Baltimore and the Baltimore Jewish Council. He is also first vice president of Chizuk Amuno Congregation and lends a hand at Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure events. Blavatt is also the chairman of the Baltimore County Human Relations Commission which enforces the anti-discrimination and civil rights laws of the County.
Blavatt is the managing partner of Blavatt & Blavatt, LLC, a law firm that primarily serves residents of Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Howard County and Carroll County. He is a graduate of The Dickinson School of Law of Pennsylvania State University and received his bachelor of arts from Gettysburg College (Phi Beta Kappa). He is a member of multiple bar associations and organizations throughout Maryland, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania, including the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Association and the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc.
Blavatt took over as LifeBridge Health board chairman following the death of Walter Amprey, Ed.D. "Dr. Amprey left very big shoes to fill, and when Jason graciously agreed to step in, we knew that LifeBridge Health was in great hands," continues Meltzer. "His years of work with us and his dedication to the community at large are a legacy in the making."
