Lakeya Ambush named Carroll Hospital's January SuperStar of the Month

Lakeya Ambush, exercise specialist with the cardiac rehabilitation program, was selected as Carroll Hospital's January SuperStar of the Month. An associate since 2020, Ambush was chosen for consistently going above and beyond her duties to greet and help patients and staff at the hospital's East Pavilion entrance.

"Lakeya is an outstanding team member. She can always be counted on to assist patients and staff without hesitation whenever the need arises," said Terry Mapp, cardiopulmonary manager at Carroll Hospital.

Each month, Carroll Hospital recognizes the extraordinary achievements of members of the Carroll Hospital staff with a program called Associate WOW Service Awards. From those who are nominated to receive Associate WOW Service Awards each month, one SuperStar of the Month is chosen. And, from a year's worth of winners, one SuperStar of the Year is selected.

Community members and hospital employees are encouraged to nominate a hospital staff member who has demonstrated a special dedication and devotion to his/her job in a variety of ways.
