Jessica Harris, R.N., receives Carroll Hospital's October DAISY Award

Registered nurse Jessica Harris, clinical decision unit, was presented with Carroll Hospital's October DAISY Award. A nurse at the hospital since 2016, Harris was recognized for her proficiency and compassionate care of a patient on her unit.

"Jessica is truly an amazing nurse who always goes above and beyond to ensure her patients are in the best of care. Her compassion and friendliness along with her expert knowledge allow her to connect with patients and make sure they feel as comfortable as possible during their hospital stay," said Stephanie Reid, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at Carroll Hospital.

Carroll Hospital's DAISY Award honors outstanding healthcare professionals at the hospital. It is given to a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse each month to recognize his or her extraordinary efforts in delivering exceptional patient care.

Carroll Hospital, a LifeBridge Health Center, is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering the latest in medical technology, experienced medical professionals in a variety of specialties and da continuum of programs and services to meet the needs of the community.
