Jenny Spencer receives Carroll Hospital's November DAISY Award

Carroll Hospice registered nurse Jenny Spencer recently received Carroll Hospital's November DAISY Award. A nurse at Carroll Hospice since 2019, Spencer was recognized for her compassion and going beyond her duties while providing home hospice care.

"Jenny is an extraordinary nurse whose compassion and exceptional care helped an entire family get through a challenging time. She consistently demonstrates all the characteristics that the DAISY Award was meant to honor," said Stephanie Reid, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at Carroll Hospital.
 
Carroll Hospital's DAISY Award honors outstanding health care professionals at the hospital. It is given to a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse each month to recognize his or her extraordinary efforts in delivering exceptional patient care.
