ExpressCare, a LifeBridge Health Partner, Celebrates 10th Urgent Care Center in Maryland with Ribbon-Cutting
Baltimore, MD - ExpressCare, Maryland's fastest growing and second largest urgent care company, and a new partner with LifeBridge Health, will hold a ribbon-cutting to celebrate its newest urgent care center in Parkville on Thursday, October 31, at 9:30 a.m. at 7701 Harford Road. The Parkville site is the company's 10th urgent care center in Maryland.
In addition to the Parkville location, ExpressCare currently operates other centers in Baltimore, Harford, Cecil, Carroll, Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties. All ExpressCare urgent care centers see patients seven days a week until 9 p.m. with no appointment necessary. People can simply walk in and be examined by medical staff members.
"We identified a real need in this Baltimore County community for a convenient alternative for individuals who cannot immediately see their own doctors or who are looking for a place in their own neighborhoods to get care when they need it," said Maurice Reid, M.D., the CEO and chief medical director of Express Care. "Our staff treats most serious, non-life threatening conditions including the flu, infections, ear aches, broken bones, burns and bites."
The importance of the ExpressCare expansion into Parkville is being recognized by the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce. Both Kevin Scott and Christine Crawford, the president and vice president of that group, respectively, are scheduled to be at Thursday's ribbon-cutting. In addition, American Express gift certificates will be raffled off every hour during the event, and light refreshments will be served.
ExpressCare recently partnered with LifeBridge Health, one of the largest, most comprehensive health care organizations in the Baltimore area to broaden its outreach and continuum of care.
