Edwin Tenali, P.A.-C., Named Carroll Hospital's June Provider of the Month Care

Certified physician assistant Edwin Tenali has been chosen as Carroll Hospital's June Provider of the Month.

Affiliated with the hospital for two years, Tenali was recognized for providing high quality care to his patients and being an outstanding team player. 

"Edwin is an extremely hardworking, positive and compassionate provider who exemplifies our SPIRIT Values in his work every day," said Mark Olszyk, M.D., vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer at Carroll Hospital.

Each month, Carroll Hospital recognizes the extraordinary patient care achievements of physicians, as well as physician assistants, nurse practitioners and certified nurse anesthetists, with a program called Practitioner/Physician WOW Service Awards. From those who are nominated to receive these awards each month, one Physician or Provider of the Month is chosen. And, from a year's worth of Physician or Provider of the Month winners, one Physician of the Year and one Advanced Practice Provider of the Year is selected.

Community members and hospital associates are encouraged to nominate a medical professional who has demonstrated a special dedication and devotion to patients in a variety of ways.
