The Daily Record Names Neil Meltzer as an Inaugural "Icon Honors" Recipient
Baltimore, MD -Neil Meltzer, president and CEO of LifeBridge Health, has the distinction of being selected as one of The Maryland Daily Record's first "Icon Honors" recipients for his strong leadership and innovative vision.
Under Meltzer's guidance, LifeBridge Health has earned a reputation as an essential community resource, an architect of health and wellness initiatives, and an excellent health care provider to the residents of the Baltimore-metro area, the region and the State of Maryland. LifeBridge Health also continues to gain prominence for its many world-class centers of excellence that have achieved national and international acclaim.
According to The Daily Record, Icon Honors was established this year to recognize Maryland business leaders, over the age of 60, for their notable successes within and outside their fields while moving their businesses and the state forward by growing jobs and making a difference in their communities through innovation, leadership and community service.
"On behalf of my leadership team and our 10,000 employees, I am humbled to receive such a prestigious recognition," says Meltzer. "With the ever-changing nature of health care, we continuously assess the needs of the individuals we serve while focusing on the highest-quality clinical and social standards, as well as responsible financial performance.
LifeBridge Health has also proven to be a thought leader and early adopter of innovative business practices that illustrate how hospitals and health systems can successfully navigate the shifting health care landscape, while continuing to meet community needs, remain profitable and achieve growth.
LifeBridge Health also continues to be proactive in expanding the LifeBridge Health Commercial Division, now known as LifeBridge Health Partners, as well as strengthening partnerships with leaders in the community.
The Icon Honors awards were presented earlier this month at a reception at The Center Club. Meltzer and the other 24 winners were then profiled in a special publication of The Daily Record on December 20.
