Christine Arrowood, R.N., receives Carroll Hospital's September DAISY Award

Registered nurse Christine Arrowood, inpatient wound care, was presented with Carroll Hospital's September DAISY Award.  A nurse at the hospital for close to 30 years, Arrowood was recognized for going above and beyond her duties to provide patients with compassionate support, medical supplies and effective resources after they had been discharged home.

"Chris consistently goes the extra mile to help patients. She is a consummate team player who is always willing to step in and help whenever needed to ensure our patients receive efficient care when inside the hospital and the supplies and treatments needed after they've been discharged," said Stephanie Reid, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at Carroll Hospital.

Carroll Hospital's DAISY Award honors outstanding healthcare professionals at the hospital. It is given to a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse each month to recognize his or her extraordinary efforts in delivering exceptional patient care.
