Children's Hospital at Sinai Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Reunion

Join us for a special day filled with laughter and memories as former patients of the Jennifer Gandel Kachura Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and their families get together to celebrate with Sinai Hospital NICU nurses, doctors, caregivers and other families for a heartfelt reunion.

Graduates who spent their first days in the NICU return to thank the healthcare professionals who cared for them and show just how much they've grown.

More than 90 NICU graduates (including some twins and triplets) and their families will be in attendance.

While many families return every year to see their caregivers, this is the first in-person reunion in several years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the reunion, families will then get to enjoy a day at the zoo.

The Jennifer Gandel Kachura Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Sinai cares for premature and critically ill newborns. The staff also provides extensive emotional support and educates families about providing ongoing care at home. Newborns can spend a few days or several months in the NICU after they are born, and families often become very close with their caregivers and other families.
