Catherine Reilly, R.N., receives Carroll Hospital's July DAISY Award

Registered nurse Catherine Reilly, patient navigator at the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, was presented with Carroll Hospital's July DAISY Award. A nurse at the hospital since 2016, Reilly was recognized for her overwhelming dedication to patients and her team. She consistently goes above and beyond her duties to assist her co-workers in delivering efficient patient care and to ensure patients are fully informed about their treatment plan.

"Catherine is a phenomenal nurse who always puts the needs of her patients and team first. She connects with her patients to make them feel confident in their care and helps her team tremendously to ensure they have everything they need to provide patients with the highest quality care," said Stephanie Reid, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at Carroll Hospital.

Carroll Hospital's DAISY Award honors outstanding healthcare professionals at the hospital. It is given to a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse each month to recognize his or her extraordinary efforts in delivering exceptional patient care.
