Carroll Hospital Welcomes Nurse Practitioner Jessica Mazzone to its Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine

Carroll Hospital is pleased to welcome certified nurse practitioner Jessica Mazzone to the team of expert providers at the hospital's Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. 

Mazzone joins the wound care team with close to a decade of nursing experience. She earned her Master of Science degree in the Acute Care Nursing Practitioner program from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She also received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.

At the hospital's Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, Mazzone will assist the team in caring for patients with chronic and nonhealing wounds. Accredited by the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society, the center boasts a range of specialists who work together to provide patients with a comprehensive assessment and effective care plan to meet patients' need.

The center is also equipped with advanced technology to provide patients with the latest innovative treatments such as specialized dressings, compression therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy"”a medical treatment that can enhance the body's natural ability to heal using pure oxygen.
