Carroll Hospital Welcomes Mahfuzul Khan, M.D., to Carroll Health Group Endocrinology
Carroll Hospital is pleased to welcome Mahfuzul Khan, M.D., endocrinology, to Carroll Health Group. Carroll Health Group is Carroll Hospital's affiliated multi-specialty practice and a LifeBridge Health partner.
Dr. Khan joins Carroll Health Group Endocrinology with close to 20 years of experience. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of endocrine conditions including diabetes, thyroid and adrenal disorders, as well as pituitary and metabolic bone diseases. He is trained to perform thyroid ultrasounds as well as ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration biopsies.
Dr. Khan earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his residency at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia, and his fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Khan is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialties in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. He also was named a "Top Doc" in Diabetes and Endocrinology by Baltimore magazine in 2017, 2019 and 2020.
