Carroll Hospital Team Members Receive Awards for Providing Outstanding Patient Care

Several Carroll Hospital team members were honored for their excellent care of patients. Each of the team members was thanked and recognized for going above and beyond their normal duties, which exemplified the hospital's SPIRIT values (spirit, performance, innovation, respect, integrity and teamwork). 

The following is a list of the awardees:

Charles Biggus, environmental services aide, received the May Dragonfly Award for his compassion, patience and assistance in helping an anxious patient.

Carolyn Calleo, C.R.N.P., was named the May Provider of the Month for her outstanding care of patients in the hospital's behavioral health department.

And, Stacy Little, R.N., emergency department, was chosen as the April SuperStar of the Month for her ability to connect with patients, making them feel calm and reassured while receiving care.
Community members and hospital employees are encouraged to nominate a hospital team member who has demonstrated a special dedication and devotion to his/her job in a variety of ways.
