Carroll Hospital Team Members Receive Awards for Providing Outstanding Patient Care
Carroll Hospital recently awarded several hospital team members for their exceptional patient care. Each team member was thanked and recognized for going above and beyond his or her normal duties, which exemplified the hospital's SPIRIT values (spirit, performance, innovation, respect, integrity and teamwork).
The following is a list of the awardees:
Elijah Geise, radiology technologist, received July's SuperStar of the Month Award. A team member for nine years, Geise was recognized for his strong attention to detail and willingness to step in and help his team whenever needed.
Megan Rhodes, R.N., critical care unit, was presented with July's Dragonfly Award. A team member for five years, Rhodes was recognized for her compassionate care and empathy toward a patient on her unit.
Sara Six, R.R.T., respiratory care practitioner, was also presented with July's Dragonfly Award. She was honored for going above and beyond her duties to provide a patient with exceptional care and emotional support during the patient's hospital stay.
Community members and hospital employees are encouraged to nominate a hospital team member who has demonstrated a special dedication and devotion to his/her job in a variety of ways.
