Carroll Hospital Awards Team Members for their Exceptional Care

News

Chaplain Linda Goode, manager of spiritual care services, and Pamela Ford, R.N., supplemental staffing, were recently presented with Carroll Hospital's February SuperStar of the Month and Patient Safety Hero awards, respectively.

A team member since 2019, Chaplain Goode was recognized for going above and beyond the expectations of her duties when she assisted an Emergency Department team member with a patient's care.

Ford, who has worked at Carroll Hospital for close to 21 years, was named Patient Safety Hero for identifying a small but serious change in a patient's EKG monitor, which helped to diagnose the patient's cardiac condition.

Community members and hospital employees are encouraged to nominate a hospital team member who has demonstrated a special dedication and devotion to his/her job in a variety of ways and goes above and beyond to provide patient care and ensure patient safety. For more information on how to nominate a Carroll Hospital team member, contact the Human Resources Department at 410-871-6833 or visit Lifebridgehealth.org/recognition.
