Carroll Hospital Auxiliary to Host "Here Comes the Sun" Ball on November 6
The Carroll Hospital Auxiliary is hosting its Annual Ball on Saturday, November 6 at Martin's Westminster. The Auxiliary's traditional event of the season will be held in person in 2021, with "Here Comes the Sun" as this year's theme.
The philanthropic black-tie evening kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and includes cocktails, dinner, dancing and a live band. The Auxiliary will adhere to all local guidelines for gatherings at the time of the event.
All proceeds will benefit the construction projects currently underway at Carroll Hospital. As part of the hospital's seven-year strategic plan, Vision 2020, the hospital's expansion project includes constructing a skilled nursing home, redesigning the Critical Care Unit (CCU), creating a dedicated observation unit, as well as constructing a new perioperative and surgical recovery area, and a new specialized pediatric care center. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by 2022.
Once again, the Carroll Hospital medical staff is the Hospital Lead Sponsor of the event. Consisting of more than 400 physicians representing more than 40 medical specialties, the hospital's medical staff members have been longtime supporters of the Auxiliary and its many fundraising projects to enhance programs and services at Carroll Hospital.
"The Auxiliary is extremely excited to have the Ball return to an in-person event, which will have a new meaning in light of the past year. Thanks to longtime and dedicated supporters, such as the hospital's medical staff, we'll be able to celebrate a new norm, gathering with friends, and all that the hospital has and will continue to accomplish throughout the year," said Janet Davis, chair of the Carroll Hospital Auxiliary Ball committee.
Tickets to this year's Ball are $175 per person and go on sale in September. Tickets will be limited to 400 guests.
Sponsorship opportunities are currently available. For more information, or to make a donation, please contact the Auxiliary at 410-871-7280 or visit CarrollAuxBall.org.
