Carroll Hospice Hosts Year-Long Taste of Carroll presented by M&T Bank

News

Carroll Hospice is taking the Taste of Carroll presented by M&T Bank experience to new heights with this year's fundraiser being held from April 26, 2021 to April 25, 2022, as a one-year culinary road trip to explore the tastes and delicacies that our community's culinary scene has to offer.

As part of the experience, beginning March 8, a Community Cuisine Passport Book will be on sale allowing participants to take advantage of a range of special offer certificates from participating restaurants, breweries, wineries and more. Participants will receive discounts on  exclusive foods, beverages, and other delicious delicacies.  All offers will be in effect from April 26, 2021 through to April 25, 2022.

Additionally, in standard Taste of Carroll fashion, a mobile silent auction will be held on Friday, April 30 through Monday, May 3, 2021.

All proceeds from Taste of Carroll impact the uncompensated care that Carroll Hospice provides, including end-of-life care costs not covered by a patient's insurance and the vast array of grief support services offered to patients' families and the community at large.

"We are excited to give residents and businesses the chance to enjoy Taste of Carroll for an entire year. For 20 years, restaurant and specialty beverage businesses have supported Carroll Hospice through Taste of Carroll and we hope that this year's concept will give them support while also furthering our efforts to continue caring for the community," said Regina Bodnar, assistant vice president of hospice and palliative care for LifeBridge Health.
