BridgingLife to host annual Taste of Carroll on April 25

News

Update: Starting in 2023, Taste of Carroll will be named Taste & Toast. Information on Taste & Toast can be found on this page.

BridgingLife, formerly Carroll Hospice, is hosting its annual Taste of Carroll presented by M&T Bank, as an in-person event on Monday, April 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at 1623 Brewing Company, located at 5975 Exchange Drive, in Eldersburg. The event will be held mostly outdoors and in large, well-ventilated production areas.

Chaired by Brenda Lowry of Pepco Holdings, the event's attendees will have the opportunity to sample an array of gourmet, festive food and beverages from more than 40 of the region's finest restaurants, bakeries, cafes and specialty food purveyors.

All proceeds of the event will support the uncompensated care that BridgingLife provides, including end-of-life care costs not covered by a patient's insurance and the vast array of grief services offered to patients' families and the community at large.

"BridgingLife's care touches everyone in and around the community in some way, which is why continuing to support its hospice and bereavement services is important now and for years to come. We encourage residents all over to attend and support such a worthy cause," said Lowry.

Tickets are $100 per person and will go on sale March 8. For more information, visit tasteofcarroll.org.

All local guidelines for gatherings will be adhered to at the time of the event.
