Barry Goughnour named Carroll Hospital's October Outstanding Volunteer

Barry Goughnour was recently recognized as Carroll Hospital's October Outstanding Volunteer. A member of the volunteer team since 2019, Goughnour received the award for his exceptional work volunteering at the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center.

"Everyone at the cancer center only has positive things to say about Barry's strong work ethic and outstanding performance. He goes out of his way to help everyone, patients and staff members alike, and he always does so with a friendly attitude," said Sharyn Rhodes, manager of volunteer services at Carroll Hospital. 

Each month, Carroll Hospital recognizes the extraordinary achievements of its volunteers. They are chosen based on years of service and hours of service or exemplary performance. 

Carroll Hospital, a LifeBridge Health Center, is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering the latest in medical technology, experienced medical professionals in a variety of specialties and a continuum of programs and services to meet the needs of the community.
