Aubrey Spanitz named Carroll Hospital's May SuperStar of the Month

Aubrey Spanitz, social worker in the behavioral health services department, was selected as Carroll Hospital's May SuperStar of the Month. A team member since 2020, Spanitz was chosen for going above and beyond her duties to help accommodate a patient's spiritual care needs.
 
"Aubrey exceeded everyone's expectations in her efforts to help this patient honor her religious practices in a safe and respectful way. Her professionalism and kindness not only made a huge impact on this patient, but also are a shining example of the compassionate and high quality care we provide all patients in our care," said Brian Henline, executive director of behavioral health services at Carroll Hospital. 
 
Each month, Carroll Hospital recognizes the extraordinary achievements of members of the Carroll Hospital staff with a program called Associate WOW Service Awards. From those who are nominated to receive Associate WOW Service Awards each month, one SuperStar of the Month is chosen. From a year's worth of winners, one SuperStar of the Year is selected.

Community members and hospital employees are encouraged to nominate a hospital staff member who has demonstrated a special dedication and devotion to his/her job in a variety of ways.
