15 LifeBridge Health Nurses Named Among Baltimore Magazine's 2020 "Excellence in Nursing" Honorees
Baltimore - LifeBridge Health is proud to announce that 15 of the system's nurses will be honored for their outstanding contributions in the healthcare field after being named among Baltimore magazine's 2020 Excellence in Nursing honorees.
A total of 67 nurses in the Greater Baltimore region were chosen and will be honored by Baltimore magazine for or their extraordinary contributions in healthcare.
The magazine's sixth annual "Excellence in Nursing" survey recognizes nurses who go the extra mile in their department. Award candidates may be nominated by a colleague, employer or supervisor, patient, friend, or family member. Self-nominations are also accepted. A panel of nurse advisors retained by Baltimore magazine reviews the nominations and helps the magazine decide on winners in each of several categories, including emergency department, orthopedics, pediatrics, and medical-surgical nursing.
LifeBridge Health staff have been featured on every list of Baltimore magazine's top nurses since the "Excellence in Nursing" survey was introduced in 2015. Congratulations to the 2020 honorees (from left to right in the photo):

This is the latest honor from Baltimore magazine for LifeBridge Health. Last fall, more than 140 LifeBridge Health and LifeBridge Health-affiliated doctors were featured on the magazine's 2020 Top Doctor list across dozens of specialties, with some physicians appearing in more than one specialty category.
