It’s been proven that family-centered care improves and enhances clinical outcomes for children and provides better support for families as they deal with the challenges of raising a chronically ill child.

At LifeBridge Health, we take a patient- and family-centered care approach, built on a partnership between families and our multidisciplinary care teams. We care for your child and family each step of the way: from diagnosis and treatment, through survivorship and ongoing care.

Inpatient Care

The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology is supported by the Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai, one of the most comprehensive pediatric departments found in a community hospital and includes numerous specialists and a 10-bed pediatric intensive care unit.

Our inpatient setting includes:

Comfortable, private rooms with a full bathroom

Age-appropriate toys and activities in our playroom and dedicated space for teens

Access to our certified child life specialists

A designated treatment room

The Alfred I. Coplan Pediatric Hematology Oncology Outpatient Center

The Alfred I. Coplan Pediatric Hematology Oncology Outpatient Center provides a large, family-centered space to care for our patients.

We are conveniently located near the main hospital entrance at Sinai Hospital, which provides easy access to other hospital services as well as the Alvin & Lois Lapidus Cancer Institute, home of the outpatient infusion center. We offer services throughout the full continuum of care, including The Kara Amey Cancer Survivorship Program.
