About The Golf Classic

The Carroll Golf Classic, hosted by the Carroll Hospital Foundation, is one of the premier golf tournaments in the county. The tournament has raised more than $6 million in charitable support to advance programs and services at Carroll Hospital.

This event is filled with 244 avid golfers and business leaders. Golfers are hosted on a beautiful, private course and provided excellent food and beverages all day. The competition is fierce and the camaraderie is palpable as area hospital supporters come together for a day of celebration. Teeing off the 1st hole is Garrett Hoover, hospital president, welcoming everyone to the day!

In 1961, Atlee Wampler was presented with the keys to Carroll Hospital and opened the doors to patients for the first time. He had vision and understood that quality healthcare in the county would be the cornerstone of a thriving community. Sixty years later, our community's hospital faced a historic pandemic with all the heart and spirit you have come to expect. Your support helped us be strong and ready to respond. You helped provide protective equipment for our front-line caregivers, technology and modern facilities for a record number of patients, and unmatched expertise to provide care and healing in the best ways possible. Many things have changed since that first day in 1961, but the generosity of our community remains steadfast.
