Visiting Animals
We know that spending time with your pet can bring joy and happiness! As an Eden Alternative facility, we welcome dogs and cats into our building to visit with residents. We simply require all visiting animals to be healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, and well-tempered. If you are interested in bringing in an animal to visit with a resident, please contact Amanda Wittelsberger at 443-658-9545 or email abojan@lifebridgehealth.org to initiate the screening process.
The screening process will require a form signed by the animal's veterinarian as well as a temperament test. We look forward to meeting your furry friend!
Bringing Items
You can have food and clothing items delivered directly to your loved one or bring it yourself. Please be sure to put the patient's name and room number on the items and make sure they are added to their belongings list.
Staff Thank You
We really appreciate your well wishes and thoughtfulness. You can personally drop off "thank you" cards and notes on the cart at the front entryway, or you can mail them to: 2434 W. Belvedere Ave., Baltimore, MD 21215. If you want to offer food, we can only accept food items that are pre-packaged or from a commercial food merchant; we cannot accept any homemade items.
Advance Directives
An advance directive allows you to provide guidance about the type of care you would like to receive if you are unable to communicate your choices. The terms "living will" and "durable power of attorney for health care" refer to types of directives. Through an advance directive, you may provide specific instructions about your care or designate another person to make health care decisions for you.
Chaplaincy Services
Jewish worship services are conducted monthly. Levindale’s Chaplain is also available to residents, patients and family members for spiritual counseling when requested. Community clergy of all religions are encouraged to visit residents, patient and family members for spiritual guidance and counseling. Christian worship is led by area ministers on Sundays monthly for the residents.
