Chest Pain
Chest pain is a symptom that can result from a wide variety of conditions. Though chest pain is commonly associated with having a heart attack, only 2-4% of patients presenting this symptom to their doctors are in fact experiencing heart attack. Many presentations of chest pain include musculoskeletal chest wall pain musculoskeletal and acid reflux.
Your cardiologist will evaluate you to determine if your chest pain is related to your heart or to another condition.
Diagnostic testing may include:
- Electrocardiogram
- Echocardiogram
- Cardiac Stress Test
- Cardiac catheterization
