Service Throughout Our Community

The health system is expanding its efforts to serve all of the communities in our area through the LifeBridge Health Serves initiative.

“We want to invigorate a culture of volunteerism,” shares Larry Mack, LifeBridge Health’s community partnerships manager.

On behalf of LifeBridge Health Serves, Mack helps team members find opportunities to volunteer with youth programs, community cleanups, food distribution facilities,
community beautification and more.

For instance, Mack and nurses from Sinai Hospital recently visited Baltimore’s Littleton B. Wyatt Sr. Fire Station to provide breakfast for the firefighters. Opportunities like this lead to dialogue between LifeBridge Health team members
and members of our communities, fostering familiarity and strengthening bonds.

And Mack has been working with the system’s hospitals and community partners to schedule a variety of service-oriented activities in Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Carroll County in which LifeBridge Health team members can volunteer their time and talents as part of LifeBridge Health’s 25th anniversary celebrations (see page 7).

LifeBridge Health Serves is another way our team members can CARE BRAVELY throughout our communities. “This is more than an opportunity to check a box,” Mack explains. “It’s an opportunity to exercise a value.”
