Luna Williams is a fierce advocate in many forms of service and is dedicated to being there for those who need a helping hand.

Q1. How long have you been with LifeBridge Health and what is your current role?

A. My current role is director of environmental and linen services. I have been working with LifeBridge Health for many years. Starting here in 2005, I have been a part of operations at Sinai, Grace Medical Center and Levindale. LifeBridge Health is near and dear to me.

Q2. You bring so much passion into the work you do — what motivates you?

A. I came to this country as a refugee many years ago, and I have a lot of value for the people who helped bridge my way. This included kind neighbors, patient teachers and compassionate mentors who saw something in me. I aspire to be like these people and encourage those who may need that helping hand. “Everybody needs somebody,” is the saying.

Q3. Since starting at LifeBridge Health, what have you found most rewarding?

A. The most rewarding part of working at LifeBridge Health is being able to participate in the many ways that we CARE BRAVELY for people. I am proud to have been supportive in many forms of service such as health fairs, green initiatives, community outreach events, environmental services, service recovery, Urban Alliance mentoring, VSP training and more. It is very fulfilling to see the smiles and receive the hugs after helping somebody.
