J.E.D.I. Champion of the Month: Carolyn Kelly-Green

The J.E.D.I. office would like to recognize Carolyn Kelly-Green for her contribution to LifeBridge Health’s justice, equity, diversity and inclusion efforts. Carolyn has been giving her all to Grace Medical Center since the days of Bon Secours. She exemplifies dedication to the patients and community around Grace.
For numerous years she has led the effort for the annual community fair that provides comprehensive screenings and services from all over LifeBridge Health right in the backyard of Grace. Carolyn is a thoughtful leader who will ensure initiatives are practical not lofty. She portrays SPIRIT values with her team and embraces principles of J.E.D.I.
Q1. How long have you been with Grace/LifeBridge Health and what is your current role?
A. I have been with Grace/LifeBridge Health for 37 years, and my current role is Director of Imaging and Ancillary Services.
Q2. You bring so much passion into the work you do — what motivates you?
A. My greatest motivation comes from the patients we serve and the Grace community. Secondly, my team inspires me. I am honored and privileged to lead a group of highly engaged individuals who are deeply committed to the mission and values of LifeBridge Health. Finally, I find fulfillment in fostering meaningful relationships with those around me, especially Grace's leadership team.
Q3. Since starting at Grace/LifeBridge Health, what have you found most rewarding?
A. I see my work as more than just a job. To me, it's a mission. I believe it brings glory to my Creator, and with that in mind, I am motivated to do my best every day. While some days my best may be better than other days, I never stop striving. At the end of the day, I want to know that I did something to make someone's day a little brighter!
