Biodex Dynamometer

The Biodex Dynamometer is a fast and objective way to identify, treat, and document physical impairments. We mainly use the Biodex machine with patients who require strengthening or re-education to their quadriceps, but it can be configured to test multiple joints and muscle groups. The Biodex can objectively measure the force output of muscles to compare between sides and to track progress over time. It can be used in different modes to strengthen muscles as they get shorter, longer, or stay in the same position with visual feedback to see progress. We can work muscles to gain strength throughout the entire range of motion or at a specifically selected point to most improve function.
