Embracing our differences, acting on our values

Here at LifeBridge Health, we both recognize and celebrate the rich array of communities and cultures represented by our team members and patients. Justice, equity, diversity and inclusion are among LifeBridge Health’s top priorities and cardinal values, underpinning our continuous efforts to better support our patients, visitors and each other. To Care Bravely is to stand up, stand out and stand together as we embrace both the richness of our differences and the power of our unity.

Our mission

We support Lifebridge leadership with JEDI and HE strategies that will guide our business strategy, eradicate structures that empower health inequities and discrimination and maximize our ability to care for our community, patients, and each other.

EMPLOYEE RESOURCE GROUPS

With the support and guidance of the JEDI team, LifeBridge Health’s employee-run resource groups (ERG) provide team members from various cultures and communities with an outlet for engaging with their fellow community members, advocating for change, hosting events and more.

Black Culture

The Black Culture ERG works to create an inclusive environment for all African-American and Black employees through their offerings of educational opportunities, networking, community events, cultural events and social gatherings.

Hispanic-Latino Network

This resource group provides a space within the LifeBridge Health System where Latino and Hispanic employees as well as allies can engage in conversation, collaboration, and community in order to provide opportunities for networking, professional development, charitable public service, community involvement, and enhancing patient experience for the Latino and Hispanic population in the Greater Baltimore region.

LGBTQIA+

Providing an outlet for advocacy, support and education, this group is a testament to the rich array of sexual orientations and gender identities within the employee population. Through this group, LGBTQIA+ employees and their allies can connect to promote educational and social opportunities, advocate for improvements to the experiences of LGBTQIA+ team members and allies at LifeBridge Health and more.

Pan-Asian

The Pan-Asian Employee Resource Group’s purpose is to provide support and a safe space for the Pan-Asian employee community, as well as their allies. The ERG aspires to promote education, awareness, and information for all LifeBridge Health team members, and a forum to discuss mutual interests. This new Employee Resource Group will also plan opportunities for involvement in the community, and networking events for its members.

Veteran's Network

LifeBridge Health seeks to provide veterans with an environment where they are empowered to pursue career advancement opportunities, achieve leadership positions, and have access to resources to support their professional development.

Interfaith

Here at LifeBridge Health, we both recognize and celebrate the rich array of communities and cultures represented by our team members and patients. Justice, equity, diversity and inclusion are among LifeBridge Health’s top priorities and cardinal values, underpinning our continuous efforts to better support our patients, visitors and each other. To Care Bravely is to stand up, stand out and stand together as we embrace both the richness of our differences and the power of our unity.
