News

Baltimore - LifeBridge Health is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jennifer Witten as vice president of Government Relations and Community Development. In her new position, Witten will play a pivotal role in shaping LifeBridge Health’s interactions with local, state and federal governments and agencies, as well as nurturing and growing the health system’s connections to people in the communities it serves.

Witten brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in building fruitful partnerships between public institutions and private enterprises. This strategic addition further aligns with the health system’s commitment to fostering stronger ties with government entities and enhancing community engagement.

“Jen Witten comes to us with several years of healthcare experience including leading government relations leadership experience at the Maryland Hospital Association and the American Heart Association, as well as recent experience in a national healthcare related startup. Through her work, Jen has addressed key issues comprising the legislative and regulatory agenda of the hospital industry,” says Jason H. Weiner, senior vice president and general counsel. “With Jen on board, we are confident in our ability to strengthen these connections and develop innovative solutions that address the needs and aspirations of all stakeholders.”

Witten joins LifeBridge Health following the retirement Martha Nathanson, who served in the role for 25 years.

Weiner adds, “We express our sincere gratitude to Martha Nathanson for her exceptional and impactful service. We look forward to building on that legacy and eagerly anticipate the positive contributions Jen will make to our organization. Together, we remain committed to building a brighter future for all and making a lasting difference in the communities we call home”
